SCG9089 - Nicaragua 2 Centavos – León Cathedral (c.1930s)
1 in stock
This classic Nicaragua 2 Centavos stamp features a finely engraved view of León Cathedral, one of Central America’s most important colonial monuments. Printed by the American Bank Note Company, the issue reflects the firm’s signature crisp line-engraving and ornamental frame style. The bold orange-red color showcases the cathedral’s Baroque–Neoclassical façade with excellent architectural detail. A staple of early 20th-century Nicaraguan philately, this stamp is popular among collectors of Central American architecture, ABNCo engravings, and pre-WWII Latin American postal history. Light cancels or toning variations are common on surviving examples.
