This striking 15-cent stamp from Kenya, Uganda & Tanganyika features a beautifully engraved view of Mount Kilimanjaro, one of East Africa’s most iconic landscapes. Issued during the King George VI definitive series (1938–1954), it combines colonial portraiture with detailed topographical artwork characteristic of Perkins Bacon and Bradbury Wilkinson engravings of the era. The red-and-black bi-color design highlights a local warrior figure at left and the royal portrait at right. Widely collected for its aesthetic quality, crisp line engraving, and postal-history significance from the former British East Africa territories.
