This striking 2 drachmai postage due stamp of Greece features a classical design with two Ionic columns supporting an ornate banner reading ΕΝΑΡΊΘΜΟΝ ΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣΗΜΟΝ (“Numbered Stamp”). Issued in the early 20th century, this high-value due stamp was used to collect unpaid postal fees. Printed in a vivid red-orange shade, it shows crisp line engraving and the strong architectural style typical of Greek fiscal and due issues of the era.
