1 in stock
This Austrian 15 Heller definitive from 1916 features a finely engraved portrait of Emperor Franz Joseph I, issued during the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Designed by Rudolf Junk and engraved by F. Schirnböck, the stamp belongs to the popular “Franz Joseph Laureate” series, known for its ornate frame and bead-and-scroll detailing. Printed in a striking carmine-red, it remains a key issue for WWI-era collectors, especially in well-struck postally used condition as seen here. A classic piece of imperial postal history reflecting the final chapter of Habsburg rule.
