1 in stock
This striking Chilean commemorative stamp, issued in 1976, pays tribute to the VI Asamblea General Ordinaria de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA/OAS). It features a beautifully printed multicolor view of the iconic Laguna del Inca, a high-Andean lake located in the world-famous Portillo ski region. The design captures the pristine turquoise waters surrounded by snow-covered Andean peaks—an excellent example of Chile’s scenic-thematic issues of the 1970s.
The stamp bears the OAS emblem at lower left and a bold inscription honoring the assembly. With a face value of $150, it was printed by Cámara de Moneda de Chile. Highly appealing to collectors of OAS issues, Latin American landscapes, and international organization commemoratives.
