The design features his celebrated architectural masterpiece, the Libreria Marciana in Venice, a hallmark of classical harmony and Venetian grandeur. Printed in rich brown tones, the stamp was engraved by V. Nicastro and produced by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, Rome. It forms part of Italy’s artistic series paying tribute to masters of Renaissance architecture.
