Part of the long-running “Juan Carlos I” definitive series, the stamp was issued by Correos and printed by F.N.M.T. (Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre). The design presents the monarch in profile against a teal background, with the denomination “2” in the lower-right corner and a gold vertical panel inscribed “ESPAÑA Correos.” These stamps were produced in numerous colors and values for everyday postal use during Spain’s transition to democracy.
