This beautiful 32 pesetas Christmas stamp from Spain (España) was issued in 1997 by the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre (FNMT). It reproduces Adoración de los Reyes (“Adoration of the Magi”), a Renaissance painting by Pedro Berruguete (P. Berruguete), one of Spain’s earliest masters of the Italian-influenced style. The image shows the Virgin Mary presenting the Christ Child to one of the kneeling Magi, rendered with solemn warmth and architectural depth. This issue belongs to Spain’s traditional Navidad series, celebrating sacred art and the Nativity story during the festive season.
