SCG7188 - Spain – Christmas (Navidad) 1995, “Adoración de los Reyes”
1 in stock
This Spanish Christmas stamp, issued in 1995 with a denomination of 30 pesetas, features a relief sculpture depicting the Adoration of the Magi from the Church of San Martín de Elines in Cantabria. The detailed stone carving shows the Virgin Mary holding the Infant Jesus, accompanied by the Three Kings presenting their gifts. The design reflects Spain’s deep religious and artistic traditions, blending Romanesque art with the spiritual symbolism of Christmas. The issue was printed by F.N.M.T. (Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre) and includes decorative star motifs to evoke the Nativity’s celestial theme.
