1 in stock
This attractive two-stamp set from Rwanda (1977) celebrates the 10ᵉ Sommet de l’OCAM (Organisation Commune Africaine et Malgache) held in Kigali. The 10F brown stamp depicts “Collaboration Culturelle” with a motif of open hands enclosing African art and a torch symbolizing enlightenment. The 64F green stamp features “Collaboration Économique”, representing industry and development through cogwheels and oil rigs. Both designs include a portrait of Rwanda’s then-President and were printed by Cartor with artwork by W. Bosschem. These stamps highlight themes of African unity, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation—core ideals of post-independence Africa.
