SCG4991 - Germany (Deutsches Reich) – NSDAP Official Stamps, 1934–1936 (Eagle and Swastika on Pedestal, 3 Pf & 5 Pf)
1 in stock
These stamps were issued in Nazi Germany during the mid-1930s for use by the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP). The design features the Nazi Party emblem: an eagle perched on a pedestal, clutching a wreath encircling a swastika. The inscriptions read “Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei” (National Socialist German Workers’ Party) along the sides and “Deutsches Reich” at the bottom.
-
The brown 3 Pfennig was typically used for lower domestic rates.
-
The green 5 Pfennig covered standard postage or internal party mail.
These issues are part of the politically charged philatelic material from the Third Reich, sought after by collectors of WWII postal history, propaganda issues, and German Reich stamps.
