SCG4781 - Iran 10 Dinar Persepolis & Reza Shah Pahlavi Stamp
1 in stock
This is a 10 Dinar postage stamp of Iran, issued during the reign of Reza Shah Pahlavi (1925–1941). The design features a vignette of the ancient ruins of Persepolis in brown, framed by an ornate blue border. At the right, a portrait of Reza Shah appears in an oval medallion, emphasizing the link between Iran’s ancient heritage and modern monarchy. The denomination is inscribed in Persian script at the top left and “IRAN” at the bottom. A fine example of early 20th-century Iranian philately, it reflects both national pride and historical continuity.
