This Indonesian semi-postal stamp was issued in 1965 to promote and fund the Conference of the New Emerging Forces (CONEFO), a political organization envisioned by President Sukarno as an alternative to the United Nations. The design features a profile portrait of Sukarno wearing the traditional peci cap, rendered in black, with bold red text “Conefo” along the right margin. The denomination 1.75 + 1.75 Rupiah indicates both postage value and a surcharge for the CONEFO fund. Inscribed “Republik Indonesia” at the bottom, it reflects the nationalist and anti-imperialist spirit of the period.

This issue is significant for collectors of Cold War politics, Asian history, and thematic philately on international organizations.
