To the right, the stamp features the Impatiens stuhlmannii flower, a native species symbolizing the country’s rich biodiversity. The hilly Rwandan landscape in the background highlights the harmonious balance between wildlife, livestock, and the natural environment. This issue emphasizes Rwanda’s commitment to environmental preservation and conservation awareness during the 1970s.
