This First Day Cover was issued by the Republic of Cuba on 25 July 1940 to commemorate the Lions Clubs International Convention held in Havana. The cover features a colorful cachet with the Cuban flag, palm trees, and the red Lions emblem, inscribed “Convencion La Habana 1940”. It bears the 2 centavos red commemorative stamp, canceled with a special blue Havana postmark incorporating the Lions emblem and the date.
