Printed by the Swiss firm Busag, Berne, this 1 Guerche denomination served as part of Ethiopia’s definitive series under Selassie’s reign. Highly sought after, it represents Ethiopia’s sovereignty during a turbulent era preceding the Italian invasion of 1935.
