This Honduran airmail stamp was issued in 1959 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth (1809–1959). It features a detailed engraving of Lincoln delivering the Gettysburg Address, flanked by the flags of Honduras and the United States. The Spanish inscription "Oración de Gettysburg" directly references this iconic speech. Valued at 3 centavos de lempira, the stamp was printed by Waterlow & Sons Limited, a renowned British printer.
