This 40 Pfennig stamp from Deutsche Bundespost Berlin features an engraved view of Schloss Bellevue around 1800. Located in Berlin, this neoclassical palace later became the official residence of the German President. The stamp, printed in black and blue, shows the palace along the Spree River, complete with a rowing boat in the foreground. Designed by H. Hiller and engraved by E. Falz, it reflects West Berlin’s architectural heritage during the post-war period. This is a used stamp.
