Printed in a rich red-brown shade, it carries the corner check letters \u003cstrong data-start=\"498\" data-end=\"509\"\u003e“D – B”\u003c\/strong\u003e, used to identify plate positions. The design includes the ornamental side frames and star devices in the top corners. This issue was perforated later (1854 onwards), as earlier versions were imperforate.
